TOURNAMENT WILL BE SCHOOL BASE AND GRADE LEVEL TOURNAMENT

SCHOOL TEAMS ONLY

Team's roster must consist of players attending the same school or feed into the same High School of their School District.

Parochial or Private school teams must identify the schools in their school system (district) that feed into the same high school.

ONLY ONE ENTRY FEE: Tournament entry Fee of $250.00
IF YOUR TEAM IS NOT A MEMBER OF USSSA THE ENTRY FEE WILL BE $275.00 THAT WILL INCLUDE INSURANCE FOR THE WEEKEND.

Teams are not entered until  ALL forms and fees are received!

7th & 8th GRADE RULES & INFORMATION
PURPOSE: To provide an opportunity for girls grades 7 through 8 to participate in competitive basketball.  To develop a sense of fair play, teamwork and to provide an opportunity to improve the physical condition and basketball skills of all participants.  To provide quality USSSA leagues and tournaments for girls. 
GAMES:   Each team in the  Tournament will be guaranteed  to play 4 games  
RULES:      

IHSAA rules will be followed with the following exceptions:

IHSAA rules will be followed with the following exceptions:

  1. Tournaments games will be played with 12 minute halves
  2. Overtime will be two minutes.
  3. Half-time will be five minutes.
  4. Each team will be guaranteed a ten minute warm-up unless both coaches and officials agree.
  5. No more than three coaches on the bench during a game.                                                                                            
  6. Pool play ties will be broken using the HGBL tie breaker rule.                                            
Tournament Admission: Admission shall not exceed $6.00 per person per day
Officials:  Officials must be NCAA or IHSAA licensed officials.  Each host team is responsible for obtaining and paying officials.   Each team will be required to provide a timer or scorekeeper for each of the games.

SANCTION: The  tournaments will be USSSA sanctioned. 
BEHAVIOR:   The teams head coach will be responsible for the actions of his/her players, coach's and spectators.  Any player, parent or spectator who receives two technical fouls during the same game, or three during the tournament, will result in tournament ejection.
ROSTER:   All players must be residents of the high school system from which their team represents.   Final roster and team entry form  must be sent to Mark Tamm at the address shown below no later than April 8, 2007. Draw Date April 10, 2007

Cost to participate in the tournament is $250.00 or $275.00 if not member team of USSSA

USSFA Teams & Host Information:
The will be pool play with l 1st and 2nd place teams will advance to A tournament & 3rd &/or 4th to B tournament.
